The Med Spec ASO EVO ankle brace is an evolutionary step forward in ankle protection with its internal stirrup & external stabilizing straps and dynamic cuff. The patented design enables the EVO to comfortably provide greater support than our original figure eight strap ankle brace and better protection against high ankle sprains. The dynamic cuff and lining materials have been upgraded to better conform to the ankle above the malleolli and resist distal migration. The EVO ankle stabilizer is bilateral and fits either the left or right foot.

Features and Benefits:

  • Dynamic Cuff: internal cuff redesigned for lower profile and enhanced circumferential compression around the distal tibiofibular joint. In addition, the dynamic cuff is now lined with CoolFlex™ padding for improved comfort and Skinloc™ material to resist distal migration
  • Stirrup and Stabilizing Straps: inner stirrup strap is redirected through slots in the dynamic cuff and continues outside the boot to form the stabilizing straps which better capture the calcaneus (heel) and resist inversion or eversion of the ankle to help stabilize the talocrural and subtalar joints
  • CoolFlex Achilles Pad and Tongue: CoolFlex™ padding contains spandex fiber to provide superior comfort along the Achilles tendon and dorsum of foot. The shoe lace is attached to the tongue to ensure lace is always centered
  • Invisible Seam: for improved comfort and durability, there is no seam under the foot
