Orders

Our in-house lead time is 1-2 business days for most orders, Monday - Friday, not including holidays. Certain items including capital items like exercise equipment and treatment tables may have longer lead times in accordance with the manufacturer. Customers will receive an order confirmation by email after the order is sent to our warehouse for processing. If an item on order is not available, customers will be notified by email at which point you make request a substitution or change to the order. If we do not receive a response within 2 business days, we will ship the order without that item or cancel the order.

The order cut-off time for same day shipping is by, although not guaranteed as our USPS has a varying pickup schedule:

12pm for USPS, Ground Advantage Orders

2pm for UPS Ground and Select Orders

**12pm the day before any holiday for any shipping carrier

Shipping

We ship to anywhere within the United States. Most orders ship from our Redding, California warehouse during regular business days (Monday thru Friday, 8a-2p) unless otherwise notified. Certain items including capital items may ship directly from the manufacturer. Available shipping options are presented at checkout. Transit times are estimates by the shipping provider and are not guarantees of delivery by a specified date. For larger, capital items, we deliver by freight.

Typically, orders are delivered within 1-7 business days depending on the shipping provider and method chosen at checkout, delivery location and stock availability. Again, delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not a guarantee. We have no control over transit times once an order leaves our warehouse. Larger equipment orders may vary from one to several weeks.

Orthopedic Outfitters offers FREE shipping on orders over $99.00 to US residents. Please note this offer does not extend to the shipment of heavy and large goods (i.e. gloves, hot/cold packs, foam rollers) and liquids, capital items such as exercise equipment, treatment tables, and other items which must be delivered by freight.

Damage during shipping

Inspect all merchandise upon delivery. When signing for the delivery, make written note of any visible external damage to the packaging. Open and inspect your package immediately to determine if there is any concealed damage. Report any damage to the freight carrier and file a claim if necessary.

Expedited Shipping

We do not offer expedited shipping as a standard option, as carrier transit times from our location cannot be guaranteed—especially during peak holiday seasons.

Important:
Customers are responsible for all expedited shipping fees. Once a package has left our warehouse, transit time and any delivery delays are solely the responsibility of the shipping carrier. If your order is placed on a Friday after 2pm, regardless of the shipping method chosen, it will not ship until the following business day, or start of the next week.

2026 Holiday Operations Schedule

The following days are observed holidays in which most or all shipping carriers will not be operating and no orders will be shipping, please make note of these days when placing your orders as we will be closed those days as well:

• May 25th - Monday, Memorial Day, All Day
• September 7 - Monday, Labor Day, All Day
• November 26th-28th - Thanksgiving Weekend, All Days

*USPS, United States Postal Service (Ground Advantage, Priority Mail), is closed for All Federal Holidays.

Holiday Shipping & Delivery Estimates

To help ensure your gifts arrive on time, here are our recommended order-by dates for December:

Standard USPS/UPS Ground     

• West Coast: 4-8 Business Days, Order by December 15th        
• East Coast: 6-10 Business Days, Order by 12th           

Priority UPS 3-Day Select

• West Coast/East Coast: 3 Business Days, Order by December 19th  

Expedited Shipping *Request Only

• 1-2 Business Days, Order by December 22nd         

Holiday Reminder:

Carrier delivery windows can tighten as we get closer to Christmas. Ordering early is the best way to ensure your gifts arrive in time! No orders will be picked up or shipped on either Christmas Eve and New Years Eve due to carrier closures.
